Salary Range

£35k-£45k 

 

What the day to day might look like (your responsibilities!);

  • Develop and implement UX research and solutions that align with clients’ goals and deliver memorable, human digital  experiences.

  • Support the client services team in understanding  client needs and creating compelling UX proposals. 

  • Conduct robust and unbiased user research, user testing and data analysis to understand expectations, pains, gains and unmet needs. 

    • Draft and create user feedback surveys

    • Plan and facilitate user interviews and 1:1 observed user testing sessions

    • Plan and create user-led testing of prototypes and digital experiences

    • Conduct dummy runs through journeys and interactions to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation

    • Review real user session recordings and heatmaps for indicators of barriers and opportunities for improvement

    • Review and manipulate website engagement data, both in platform and exported (eg. Google Analytics, Data Studio, Adobe Analytics)

    • Thematic and numerical analysis analysis of all behaviour data and findings

  • Create and share research findings with clients using clear and compelling data visualisation, presentation slides and reports.

  • Create essential UX artefacts such as information architecture, site structures, journey maps, storyboards and user flows.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable design and development recommendations.

  • Take a lead role in client meetings when necessary, confidently presenting UX techniques and artefacts, addressing client feedback and ensuring project success.

  • Facilitate client workshops in discovery and stakeholder needs gathering

  • Support new business proposals and attend pitches where needed.

  • Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in all UX & design decisions, ensuring that our digital solutions are usable, enjoyable and inclusive for a diverse audience.

  • Support marketing efforts of UX content, thought leadership and initiatives that drive Freestyle’s brand awareness and engagement with potential clients

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, best practices and related emerging technologies, proactively proposing ideas where applicable

 

Qualities that will help you smash it;

  • Previous experience as a Junior-Midweight UX practitioner, showcasing potential and some experience with relevant projects

  • Enthusiasm and energy in front of clients, alongside attentive curiosity

  • Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative user research techniques

  • An eye for detail, data and consistency

  • Genuine interest to unlock unknowns by delving into the data

  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate with colleagues and clients alike

  • Strong communication skills to make the complex sound simple and engage a room

  • Passion for promoting accessibility and inclusivity in digital experiences

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines with enthusiasm

  • Listening to new and innovative ideas and processes, alongside a willingness to share your own

  • Openness and accountability
