How things have evolved since the days of Episerver solutions

The Optimizely experimentation platform, the customer data platform ‘Zaius’, and Welcome the digital asset and content marketing platform make up some of the flagship offerings within the overall digital experience platform and are now known as:

  • Optimizely Experimentation

  • Optimizely DAM

  • Optimizely CMP

  • ODP (Optimizely data platform)

Some of the developments since the rebrand include the launch of CMS version 12 which focussed improvement of the CMS user experience, with a refreshed user interface for content admins and enhancements to its content management tools and workflows.

 

Episervers EpiFind driven indexing toolset has also started to see its evolution to Optimizely Graph. This brings greater power and efficiency to site search and other functionality that require CMS-managed data.

We’ve also seen exciting announcements around the next major milestone of the CMS platform which will be CMS version 13. This introduces a visual builder for those who prefer a more flexible and visual approach to content creation. 

Digital asset management systems have seen significant growth in functionality since the Episerver days as well. Seamless integrations of a DAM system from within the same ecosystem provide an excellent toolset for organisations that need to closely manage the governance and usage of large volumes of different media assets.
